During the academic year 2016/17 the following issues the Governing Board identified and successfully addressed the following issues:

 

  • Improve the effectiveness of leadership and management at all levels.
  • Improve the quality of adult child interactions focused on the Characteristics of Effective Learning.
  • Improve provision across the curriculum for promoting Diversity and Traditional British Values
  • Improve provision and assessment in Expressive Art and Design
  • Extend children’s motivation and engagement in learning projects
  • Continue to give Safeguarding the highest priority.
  • Increase the proportion of children making outstanding progress, with a particular focus on boys and the more able.
  • Increase the number of pupils achieving above the Age Related Expectation in the specific areas of learning.
  • Establish a ‘parental involvement policy’ in order to provide further opportunities for parental involvement in children’s learning.
